WP_JAlbum plugin is not yet compatible with WordPress 2.5
Hi there
Unfortunately my popular JAlbum plugin is not yet ready for WordPress 2.5. I’m working on it though. If you have upgraded from 2.0+ to 2.5 your currently posted albums will continue to work.
The reason for the plugins incompatibility is that TinyMCE has been upgraded to v3. This version uses a very different plugin system for adding buttons to the editor. I have found examples on how to implement a backwards- and WordPress 2.5 compatible TinyMCE plugin, and I am putting some weekend hours into it.
So stay tuned, an update will become available eventually.

ah! i was wondering why i couldn’t figure out how to integrate. thanks! please let me know when the update is available! great plugin, by the way! i knew i wanted to use jalbum, and this will make it much easier to integrate with my site!

I am anxiously awaiting your 2.5 update:) When it’s ready I will also be trying to install this on my WordPress MU to make it available to my blog authors. I will contact you personally when it’s ready and let you know how it works!

The JAlbum plugin for WordPress v2.0 (as it will eventually be called) will be a complete rewrite I have decided. Work is progressing steadily! =D
All your currently inserted albums will continue to work with the new and improved version. However, if you wish (for unknown reasons) to continue using WordPress in a lesser version than 2.5, you’ll have to use the old WP_JAlbum plugin. There are simply too many changes and too many backwards compatibility issues to keep in mind and maintain to make it worthwhile to make an update/patch version. WordPress v2.5+ users can get my up’n'comming plugin version.
Shout up if you disagree, you may still be able to redo my decision.

This plugins sounds great. I’m using Dotclear 2.0 R.C., and it’s just the plugin missing to this platform. Hope it could be translated for Dotclear soon!
